International Project Manager Engineer

AdaQuest is a premier provider of localization management services. We are located in Bellevue, Washington and have been providing leading customers dynamic solutions to meet their technology and human resources needs in the Globalization area since 2001.

Currently we have an opening for a Localization Program Manager.

Core Job Responsibilities:
- Collect and maintain project scope;
- Plan and work with vendor on project readiness;
- Work with the US Core team to build localization handoffs schedules;
- Work with vendor(s) to build delivery schedule (handbacks);
- Communicate localization schedule and milestones to external vendor;
- Work with MILS to ensure localization quality is up to the standard;
- Work closely with MILS, Marketing team, production vendor to define localization packaging schedules.
- Manage the production of the Localization Kit content;
- Manage the production of printed documentation
- Manage the production of marketing packaging
- Ensure vendor obtain satisfactory support from the rest of the team;
- Support vendor by answering general queries;
- Help releasing localized products to the desired channels (RSM, Agile etc...)
- Maintain up to date information on the localization team web portal.

Qualifications:

- 5 years of Trados experience requiered.
- 3 years of experience in localization/project management;
- 3 years of experience in Advanced user of Microsoft standard localization tools Trados, LocStudio, Helium
- Strong business acumen, project management and leadership skills;
- Strong knowledge of localization processes;
- Experience localizing software products into one or more target languages;
- Experience managing and supporting external vendors required;
- Familiar with the localization process and tools;
- Strong knowledge of localization engineering processes;
- Strong knowledge of localizability practices;
- Familiar with globalization;
- Familiar with product build processes and setup testing on various operating systems;
- Able to train others in localization process and tools
- Familiar with product build processes and setup testing on various operating systems;
- Familiar with localization packaging processes
- Familiar with manufacturing process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required and knowledge of other languages preferred
- Able to train others in localization process and project management tools;
Independent, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines;
- Ability to establish and maintain key contacts outside of our localization group;
- Being able to work at a worldwide level is a key requirement;
- Strong technical background; a BA in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
