SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Primary ResponsibilitiesSoftware development for enterprise level J2EE compliant server applications Work with engineering product development disciplines to ensure that products are developed and shipped on time that meets market and quality requirements Evaluate, mitigate, and monitor risks associated with development projects Implement sufficient test procedures for developed code and perform unit and regression testImplement bug fixes and other change requests as needed Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills
Required Experience5 years experience in software development, 3 of which must be **hands-on** experience using Java and developing back-end J2EE server applications. Required experience with the following: Java EJB 2.0 SQLJ2EE application servers, preferably WebspherePrefer additional experience with one or more of the following technologies: JMSStrutsOracle 10Experience with design and implementation of scalable N-tier architecture systems. Unified Modeling Language (UML) and experience with Patterns-based analysis and design. JSP, HTML design and Javascript experience a plus, but not required.

Required EducationBSCS, BSCE or degree in related field is required.
