JAVA/J2EE Developer

We are currently looking for a skilled Java/J2EE Developer to join our team. The functional responsibilities include all of the following:

·  Gathering and understanding client needs.

·  Finding key areas where technology leverage is possible.

·  Design and development of reusable service based solutions, AND helping to insure the quality, scalability, and reliability of those solutions.

 

The following skills and experience are REQUIRED in order to be considered for this position:

·  Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Clearance is required.  In order to obtain a Secret Level Clearance you:

o Must be a United States Citizen.

o Will be subject to a government background investigation (criminal and financial).

·  Proven capability to drive software development projects to completion.

·  5+ years of demonstrated web-based software development experience, including requirements analysis, site design, multi-tier architectures, and relational database design using JAVA/J2EE.

 

While the following skills and experience are not required, candidates with these additional talents coupled with the required experience above are highly desired for this (and many of our other) position(s):

·  Experience in developing in a WebSphere environment.

·  Solid experience with some or all of the following technologies JAVA, J2EE, XSTL, XML, XSD, JMS, Hibernate, SOA and/or Web Services.

·  Enterprise experience with J2EE applications.

·  Experience and confidence to design and implement ESB/SOA patterns using the latest defined standards.

·  Proven track record of architectural experience within the domain of SOA.

·  Experience with ESB services (Oracle, WebSphere, BEA, Cape Clear) or other mediation technology.

·  Experience with W3C Web Service Specifications.

·  Experience with applications servers (Oracle, WebSphere, BAE, JBOSS).
