JUNIOR JAVA DEVELOPER needed to have FUN

Looking for a fun, upbeat developer to work for fun and exciting company!

This person will be exclusively working on the interface between the front and back end of the new web based order entery system.  All programming will be done in Java code.  We are looking for someone in the IBM/Websphere/Java world.  The back end is a mid range IS AS400 (IBM).  We need this person to do the interface in Websphere.

KEY Skills Needed are: OOD, RAD, Java, Websphere

 

Required skills Are:

 

1-2+ years experience in Java application development.

Relevant experience/exposure in e-commerce architecture and web design



Experience in WebSphere Application Server or similar application.



Experience/exposure Websphere Commerce Development or similar application.



Experience with the following technologies and concepts;

1)  Object Oriented Design

2)  J2EE Design Patterns

3)  Database Concepts (SQL, ER Diagrams)

4)  DB2

5)  WebSphere (Application Server, Commerce Server, MQ)

6)  Rational Application Developer (RAD), WSAD, Eclipse Java/J2EE (EJB, JCA, JNDI, JSTL, Struts)

7)  Web Development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

 

Experience with the following would be considered a plus;

1)  Service Oriented Architecture

2)  Web 2.0 concepts (AJAX, Flash)

3)  Message Queuing
