JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


Responsible for providing expert knowledge in architecture and development in multiple development technologies. The Application Developer will be responsible for design, development, and maintaining Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) based applications to address the  business needs. Individual will also contribute to internally developed framework and maintaining web based (JSP and Servlet) applications.

Applicants for the Application Developer position must:

 Have 4-year undergraduate degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems science or related field 3+ years developing utilizing Java frameworksExperience with UNIX Operating systemsObject oriented Design methodologies (such as UML)Experience developing against OracleExperience  with version control softwareExperience developing web applications, desiredExperience developing Eclipse RCP applications or plugins, desiredGeneral client server systems architecture Healthcare information concepts (claim data specifically), desiredRelational database architecture concepts 5+ years Java development experience strong analytical and problem solving ability Demonstrated ability to write clear technical documentationAbility to work well independently as well as collaboratively

·  Requires the ability to perform and code basic mathematical calculations including: algebra, Boolean logic, binary numbers, dimensional analysis, set theory and basic statistics.

·  The ability to express concepts clearly to various audiences is necessary.

·  Ability to interface technically with other programmers.

·  Ability to understand general healthcare technology.

·  Ability to translate oral or written requirements into programs.

 

Applicants with the following skills or education will receive priority consideration:

·  Health care administration

·  PL/SQL, UNIX/Oracle DB development background, JAVA, Data Warehouse, UNIX admin

·  CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding
