Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. Application Outsourcing (AO) incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients. Job Description - Application Development Lead Major Responsibilities:    Monitor system availability of Buyer, Analysis and Sourcing applications (test, training and production environments included) via URL, log files and monitoring notifications Monitor batch and integration processing for MFMP interfaces (Vendor Registration System, Billing and Collections System, Vendor Performance Tracking, SPURS and FLAIR) Monitor availability of key functionality with the Buyer application (eQuote, punch-out catalogs, fax2mail, Ariba Supplier Network invoices) Design, test and implement change requests approved by the project Change Review Board Design, test and implement SIRs related to integration or batch processing Provide timely feedback and required documentation for design and/or code reviews Assist in the execution of application system testing Provide support for the testing and execution of fiscal year end activities such as updating encumbrances for certified funds (Certified Forward) and processing transactions marked with a delayed purchase date (Hold Until) Proactively identify and resolve issues, and when an issue is outside of his control or expertise, raise the issue to the Production Support team lead As project needs and priorities are shifted, the above responsibilities may be adjusted or expanded to meet client service and contract compliance needs Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  1 year of Java development 4-year degree in a business or technical related field Preferred Skills:  Unix experience AML experience Test preparation, development, and execution experience Integration architecture/file processing Attention to detail and ability to grasp learning and using new technologies Strong attention to detail Initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of public sector purchasing processes Development experience in Ariba Buyer (8.2.x or higher); Ariba Sourcing (4.x or higher); Ariba Analysis (3.x or higher) To submit resume online Click Here Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
