SofTec IT has a direct client in Columbia, SC seeking an outstanding Java/J2EE for the following position:

 

Job Requires equal experience in Java and Oracle PL/SQL

Primary Duties/Accountabilities:

Effectively develop applications using Java/J2EE and Oracle PL/SQL

Develop specifications for new and existing software and systems/applications and sub-systems.
Designs, codes, unit tests, and documents programs, sub-systems and processes
Coordinates with co-workers, clients, operations, technical support, and vendors
Interfaces with clients to determine requirements, resolves problems, and performs unit testing
Analyzes system and program requirements. Solves problems with systems and programs
Performs training services and prepares presentations
Provides technical direction on projects and requires minimal supervision

Experience Required:

Minimum of three years software development experience with Java
Relational database (Oracle) & SQL knowledge
PL/SQL programming knowledge
Object-oriented analysis, design, and implementation
UNIX/Linux shell scripting experience
