Java/J2EE Developer Senior J2EE Developer Tallan www.tallan.com, is a national, highly-technical, project-based technology consulting firm specializing in software development and systems integration.  Since our founding in 1985, we have aggressively embraced advances in technology to build and implement innovative, customized business applications.  From our offices in the Hartford, Boston, New York, Tampa, and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, Tallan serves clientele in various industries and locations throughout the United States.  Our consultants work in small teams primarily on our clients’ premises and interact closely with users.  We distinguish ourselves from our competitors and provide tremendous value through superior execution, resulting in significant repeat and referral business. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: ·  5 to 7 years of application development experience with J2EE including 3 of the following: EJB’s, Struts, Eclipse, Erwin, Hibernate, Design Patterns and Weblogic.·  At least 2 years of database programming experience using SQL Server.  ·  Strong ability to work in a customer interfacing environment. ·   Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.·  Candidates should possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong verbal and communication skills. ·  Previous experience working in a team environment is essential.  ·  Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements is necessary.·  Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.·  Excellent work ethic.·  Must be authorized to work in the United States.  Job Responsibilities: As a Tallan Software Consultant you will be part of a team of talented developers building large scale, mission critical software systems for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 Clients. These systems include Application Development, Enterprise Application Development (EAI), Systems Integration, Data Warehousing and Data Mart Development, Corporate Portals, Mobile and Wireless Technologies, Supply Chain Automation, B2B E-Commerce, Retail & Distribution Order Management, Website Integration and Securities Trading Management. Our systems are built using the latest technologies including J2EE, Java, Enterprise JavaBeans, Oracle, SQL Server, .Net and C# to name a few. All of our Consultants participate in every phase of the development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
