Java/J2EE Web Developer

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concurrent is looking for a Java Web Developer with experience designing and developing web applications. This developer needs to have experience on both Client Side and Server Side development, with an emphasis on GUI design and development.

Designs, develops and implements web applications.
Prepares technical documentation of application sub-systems
Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
Performs somewhat complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of development in the following technologies required:
Web-based UI development
Java
J2EE (JSP/Servlet)
HTTP/HTML/XML
AJAX

Experience in the following technologies preferred:
Tomcat
JSF
Some Database experience
CVS Source control
InstallShield
SQL
C++
Linux
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and development experience
Strong analytical and design skills
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Must demonstrate the willingness and capability of multi-tasking by taking on several duties, tasks, projects and/or responsibilities at one time
Must be capable of working well under pressure situations independently or as a team
Must work well within a team, contributing new ideas and methodologies as appropriate
