Java Swing Developer

Company Overview:

We are a small software development company that specializes in Enterprise IT. We develop Java Swing-based client/server applications that are deployed on UNIX/LINUX/Windows systems with commercial RDBMS back-ends.

 

Overview

In this position, you will wear multiple hats. The main focus will be on the design and development of user interfaces that extend and enrich our existing products.Duties will also include server-side programming, documentation,technical support, testing, and technical administration. You should be equally at home discussing technical issues with customers,troubleshooting problems with other members of the team, or coding independently.

 



Requirements

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Must have in-depth understanding of UNIX, Linux, and Windows.

3-5 years minimum Java programming with emphasis on Swing clients

Familiarity with JDBC and servlets

Knowledge of Shell and Perl programming.

Experience with Oracle, Sybase, or MS SQL Server databases.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
