Be responsible for Parts Division Java solutions in use world-wide. Serve as the main Java Technical Lead for cross-team Java development. Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, and design of new Java systems within the Parts Division. These are of high complexity and significant risk. Lead the analysis, selection, and integration of the appropriate technologies to introduce these new applications to their target users. Manage the development of the Java portions of the Parts Division's cross-team systems. This includes creating the Java project plan, delegating tasks across analysts at PDC and TCI, and holding them accountable for the deliverables. Support existing and future Java Order Processing applications. Mentor and develop the skills of the junior members of the OD team in the areas of Java development.Education  Four year degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience. Required Skills and Experience  3+ years Java development using embedded relational databases. 4+ years structured application development working with medium to large size and complexity systems. 3+ years experience in requirements gathering, design specification assembly, and coordination of tasks among analysts. High level of self-motivation. Strong desire to learn new skills, ability to adapt to change, and ability to work under pressure across multiple hardware platforms. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work effectively within a team structure, sharing ideas, knowledge, and supporting the other members of the team Desired Skills and Experience  3+ years experience with Service Parts Division Processes.
