We are currently looking for a Java Web Application Developer to join our Development team in Monrovia, CA.  This individual is needed to develop an application using SOA, AJAX and Java.  These technologies would be used to create a customizable interface for product ordering as well as help develop the infrastructure needed to support the system and integrate it into an existing infrastructure.

 

This requires a consumer-oriented understanding of business that will be integral in the implementation of the application design. 

 Key areas of responsibility

·  Develop code for a new UI and backend applications using SOA framework.

·  Integrate this new code into an existing application as a module extension

·  Integrate into existing database structure as well as develop new database structure to support new requirements

 

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or equivalent field

·  3 years experience in Application Development in Java

·  2 years experience with SQL

·  Understanding of business requirements that are used to drive development

·  Excellent communications skills

·  Fastidious nature in documentation

·  Firm knowledge of Java, Java Script, AJAX

·  Experience with SOA development

·  Strong self motivation and desire to meet time frames

·  Must be detail oriented

·  Strong ability to multitask

·  Must have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
