Jr. Project Design Analyst

Established in 1976, DATAMATX has grown into one of the nation’s leading providers of variable print and electronic billing solutions.  We are seeking a

junior project design analyst to modify and design documents and maintain client applications at our facility in Ashland, Virginia.  This position is designed to introduce and strengthen the skills necessary for advancement to the position of programmer/systems analyst.

 

Preferred candidates will have: Two to four years college in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline. Strong communication skills and have the ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization and with clients.  Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including MS Access), with strong skills in MS Excel.Knowledge of Exstream Dialogue, QuarkXpress, and/or Adobe Photoshop software helpful but not required. Experience with data manipulation a plus.

 

Job responsibilities include:Modifying/designing documents per client specifications for both electronic and high-volume print distribution.

·  Manipulating client-provided data for document production.

·  Manipulating and creating graphics.

·  Troubleshooting automated processes and performing application testing.

·  Ensuring that all processes are compliant with applicable Government regulations (such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley) and with United States Postal Service regulations.
