Junior Graphic Designer

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Central Marketing team, the Jr. Graphic Designer plays a key role in maintaining the quality and service of Radiant Marketing Communications. The qualified candidate will work as a production designer to work onsite and assist with the production of Radiant’s corporate communications and brand development. The Jr. Graphic Designer will support all facets of Radiant’s marketing design projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist in laying out marketing collateral print pieces.Responsible for creation of web graphics.Responsible for re-touching of photo images.Responsible for development of html emails and newsletters.Ensure the completion of design projects in a timely manner.Redesign and manage collateral closet.Ability to learn new skills and retain this knowledge for future projects.Handle several concurrent projects.Work well under pressure and deadlines.Other responsibilities as assigned to support the goals of the marketing team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree is required.High level of knowledge in Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office. General knowledge of web-based systems.Compassion for the intense nature of the design process. Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.This person should be bright, detail oriented, proactive. Candidates must be a team player and accept direction and feedback from others. 1-2 years of related experience.
