Railcar Management, a dynamic software development company located in Buckhead is currently searching for an experienced Internet Applications Developer.  In this position, you will maintain and develop multi-tiered web-based business applications.  You must have a clear understanding of the full software development lifecycle, exceptional object-oriented principles and techniques, and strong testing disciplines; including technical, unit and integration.  You must also be able to systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternative solutions and implement effective and efficient solutions.  

 

Required Skills:2 years of experience with multi-tiered client/server web application development (.NET, ASP, VB 6.0 and MS SQL Server 2000/2005/DB2 AS400).  Must have both front-end and back-end development experience 2 years of relational database experience; including design, creation, and maintenance 2 years of object-oriented programming 2 years of total development/programming experience Language/Application - .NET, ASP, IIS, VSS, HTML, VBScript, JavaScript, VB 6, COM, Crystal Reports and ActiveX Database - MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005, Structure Query Language (SQL), Database Triggers and Stored Procedures, ADO Operating System – Windows 2000/Windows XP/Vista. Excellent oral and written communication skills.Self-starting initiative and an adaptable team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.Four year college degree or equivalent work experience.

 

Desired Technical Skills:

· Some initiatives are underway to enhance application graphically; prior experience in graphics design using Photoshop or Flash is a big plus.

· Language/Application - MS Visual C++, OLAP, XML

· Database - AS/400 DB/2
