Junior .Net Developer

This position is for a junior .NET developer looking to grow their skills and work on cool large brand projects including web & kiosk applications. The right individual will be skilled in building and maintaining standards compliant internet applications with an emphasis on Ecommerce and content management. He/She will enjoy a team environment, multi-tasking several projects and will need to be able to adapt quickly in a fast paced environment. I mean it, we work fast!



The right individual will have a wide range of duties including developing web based applications using Visual Studio.Net, Microsoft SQL Server and .NET framework 2.x & 3.x. Candidates must have a solid understanding of coding principles, a willingness to adhere to our standard processes, best practices, and a strong desire to contribute to the development of various concept-driven projects. A Sr. Developer will mentor and guide you on your projects along with project management staff.



The individual in this position will be responsible for the following:

.NET VB.net or C# and occasional SOAP/XML Programming (We are Microsoft Centric, with some Macromedia apps)
HTML, Java Script, VBScript, CSS and creating master pages
Database development or programming with MS SQL Server and MS Access in a web environment.
Performing analysis and debugging
Identifying potential problems and recommending alternative solutions
Timely and accurate completion of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks
Documentation of processes as they relate to your assigned projects
Flash Action scripting would be a plus
Photoshop / Illustrator / other graphics a plus but not required


Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and traits:
Some College in Computer Science or equivalent/relevant experience (such as Microsoft certifications)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (you need to be able to communicate with project managers, team members and be able to coherently comment your code!)
The ability to collaborate with our creative design staff and build from their design files.
You MUST have previous work experience in web application development using the above development methods.  And you must be able to prove it.
