Junior Quality Assurance Engineers

Centerstance is seeking two Junior Quality Assurance Engineers for three-month contract positions in Vancouver, Washington.

 

In this role you will perform testing of PC-based software that controls well-known consumer products. Each of these positions demands a proven professional who thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced high technology environment. This is an ideal stepping-stone for a person who is building their career in QA, or who is proven ready to make the leap from product or technical support. No travel is required, and all work must be performed on site.

 

Required skills and background1+ year recent QA or product support experience.Strong command of recent PC and Mac operating systems. The ability to install and troubleshoot test machines is required.Software testing experience or training. Understanding of black box testing concepts, and the ability to execute and document test plans is required. Recent testing experience, and the ability to develop test plans is a plus, but not required.Knowledge of quality systems and reliability measures.Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with test and certification standards is a plus.Ability to operate well within a team and independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
