Junior Software Engineer

We also have a top notch benefits package which includes: *Medical *Dental *401K contribution *Life *Long Term Disability *Health & Dependent Care Reimbursement *10 paid holidays *Competitive PTO packagePosition PurposeBuild and maintain new technology offerings for our internal and external use.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Develop C# applications using Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5· Attend daily SCRUM meetings and other planning and/or team meetings· Work closely with Project Managers and/or Dev Leads· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assignedEducation and Experience Required· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience· 3-5 years experience with C#Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required· Strong understanding and experience with object oriented design principles· Demonstrated knowledge of threading, events, delegates, etc.· Experience with WCF or ASMX web services preferred· Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases· Performs well in a dynamic environment and excels at learning new technologies· Code repository skills required· Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills· Proven troubleshooting skills· Experienced in proposing and executing solutions to existing problems· Excels at developing and following best practices including team based processe· Ability to estimate time on tasks and complete them accordingly
