LAMP DEVELOPER

 

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has an immediate opening for a LAMP Developer at its Marina del Rey offices.  This is an opportunity to join a global organization

 

ICANN is a nonprofit public benefit corporation responsible for the global coordination of the Internet's system of unique identifiers. These include domain names (like .org, .museum and country codes like .UK), as well as the addresses used in a variety of Internet protocols.

The LAMP Developer supports the diverse application development efforts for a variety of functional areas within ICANN.  This would include full-cycle software system design, development, validation and deployment, web applications, and more.

 

This position requires strong technical skills and advanced technical knowledge including LAMP, PHP, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby.  Development skills should also include database design and SQL, OS X, Linux, Windows environments.  Must be able to communicate effectively with internal customers, lead and drive projects, have strong time-management skills, and be able to work collaboratively.
