We have an immediate need for a LEAD APPLICATIONS ENGINEER.  The position is responsible for assessing, developing, and delivering custom test solutions to our customers.  These solutions consist of software, hardware, technical consulting, implementation, and training. 

 

JOB DUTIES: 

1.  Communicate with customers to intimately understand their test/measurement needs and recommend optimal measurement techniques, software, and/or hardware.

2.  Develop software and configure hardware to meet requirements for customer applications.

3.  Conduct on-site implementation, consulting, and training.

4.  Assist in management of service projects, from identification to implementation. Coordinate communication with customer, set and meet schedule, and assist (as needed) in the coordination of the work of junior members of the group.

5.  Limited technical support. This is a revenue-generating position.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1.  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent.

2.  3 years of experience with software such as LabView, C/C++, VB, and Lua.

3.  3 years of experience in the application and of DC, pulse, and/or RF electrical measurements used in both research and manufacturing environments.

4.  Able to travel (predominantly within US) up to 25% of the time.

5.  Strong knowledge of I-V and RF measurements and test instrumentation, such as Keithley SourceMeters and Switching products, preferred but not required.
