Lead Asset Management

Responsible for oversight and accountability of the procurement, warehousing, shipping and receiving of Data Systems Assets.
Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions to for the inventory control of the Data System assets.
Analyze and plan material requirements by determining the quantity and date materials are needed based on asset utilization. Prepare and process requisitions as needed.
Ensure the DS asset inventory is accurate and accountable. 

Responsible for the management and maintenance of the SPR  software licenses and maintenance contracts and media control 

Responsible for vendor contract management in regards to hardware warranties and vendor service contracts.  Ensure manufactures documentation and data is linked and maintained in the SPR Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Ensure equipment lifecycles are established and equipment replacement is planned to the lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:  Bachelor¿s degree in Management  Information Systems or Business

EXPERIENCE:  Five years experience with asset management processes and systems.  Strong written and oral communication skills.  Possesses good organizational and technical skills.  Ability to handle multiple, concurrent projects and changing requirements and systems.  Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) techniques and ITIL Service Delivery and Service Support best practices is beneficial. 

EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF EDUCATION:  10 years experience with Information Systems asset management processes.
