As the Lead Database Developer, you will be responsible for developing and improving ETL processes, optimizing queries,  building support applications for marketing management, improving database security, and leveraging customer data .If you are a self-starter, extremely organized and detail oriented, we want to meet you.You will enjoy a professional environment with peers committed to developing and delivering best practices in marketing database design.Position Responsibilities: Design and build new database and SQL Server applications Maintain and modify existing ETL processes Understand and help improve production in our complex weekly processing of a large marketing database Help optimize complex reports and cubes Understand complex data models Work with clients to develop requirements, specifications, and business rules Be a technical and process leader in the database development and production group Follow best practices regarding design and implementation, including managing source code and deploying processesSkills and Qualifications: Ideally 4-8 years experience in a SQL Server Database Development and any recent experience with SQL Server 2005 a plus.  5+ years as a team lead in a data warehouse environment Excellent verbal and written skills as well as strong problem solving skills If you are a self-starter who works well independentlyls Experience working in a client-driven environment Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent Experience upgrading from a SQL 2000 to a SQL 2005 environment Familiarity or experience with reporting tools: Cognos, Hyperion Brio, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports Any experience with Biztalk or similar tools a plus Any familiarity with marketing database concepts DBA experience and understanding of best practices in a large database environmentCompany and Contact Information: Omni One is an established recruitment/staffing firm specializing in Information Systems and Engineering Professionals.  Omni One has over 25 years experience in the staffing industry and a team of experienced recruiters to fill the most critical requirements.  As a matter of practice, Omni One represents you in a strictly confidential and professional manner.
