Lead Java Application Developer

Leading online retailer in the lighting and home furnishings industry seeks Senior-level Web Application Engineer as Lead Developer for a robust Java-based eCommerce Web site. This is a unique opportunity to take technical responsibility for an existing B2C Web site while influencing the design and development of a brand new B2B site.  The Lead Developer supervises other Java developers, and is responsible for the technical aspects of Web development at the company.  Company offers paid medical/dental/vision, 401K plan and other desirable benefits.  Position is full-time and based in Seattle, Washington.


PRIMARY SKILLS:
Java, JSP, Servlets, Velocity template engine, Spring framework, UML, JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL and Lucene

REQUIREMENTS:
Computer Science or related degree, 5+ years experience and proven ability in Java EE Web Application Development (Java Application Development, Object Oriented Analysis using UML with Java EE technology, eCommerce, Spring, MVC architecture, Velocity, JSP, servlets, Java Beans, JDBC, and Java Security) and integration with back office systems such as order management, financials, ERP, etc.
