SCOPE’s Supply Chain Process Platform provides the foundation for five Supply Chain Solution Suites: Planning and Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Order Lifecycle Management, Transportation Lifecycle Management and Distribution Management. Visibility, Event Management and Supply Chain Intelligence Platform Applications inform all Solution Suites, while X-Suite Solutions combine solutions or their components to address specific supply chain challenges.The Lead Analyst-Knowledge Services will work with Global Business Units. The successful candidate will analyze knowledge information needs, document requirements, develop technical designs and deliver process solutions. The Lead Analyst-Knowledge Services will partner with teams in Information Technology (IT) & Enterprise Applications (EA) to review requirements, support software releases, perform testing and Knowledge Repository maintenance and auditing functions.RESPONSIBILITIES: • Act as product leader, responsible for defining and communicating the overall Knowledgebase vision.• Manage Information through entire life cycle of development, release, maintenance and end-of-life.• Gather Information requirements and translate them into business requirements and functional specification based on industry knowledge, customer feedback and overall business strategy.• Act as the Knowledgebase evangelist and actively participate in the roll out of solutions and processes.• Set and execute Knowledgebase goals that further the strategic objectives of the company.• Work with technical teams to develop solutions across all Business Units and obtain agreement and consensus on solutions by all key stakeholders.• Work with Knowledgebase Shareholders Council to identify issues and risks that may have an effect on quality or delivery from a technical, business and end-user perspective.• Ensure all functional portals and divisional sites of Knowledgebase are effectively and efficiently maintained, adopted and beneficial to all users.• Build a team responsible for Knowledge Services administration and coordination.Position Requirements:SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:• 5-8 years of information technology experience• Min. 3 years working in a knowledgebase or content management role preferably in global organization • Highly disciplined, strong communication skills, efficient time management and organization, ability to work independently with limited oversight, and a strong sense of responsibility are all minimum pre-requisites • Project Management experience as desired.SCOPE:• Predominantly working without direct supervision for the holistic benefit of the Global group of business units. • Contributes to overall business unit, regional and Global Services/Finance execution.• Erroneous decisions or support would normally result in significant failure of critical internal applications necessary to allow all Business Units to function.• Supports efficient business processes for business units and regions.• Uses judgment and discretion to determine work priorities in a high pressure environment, receiving little guidance or instruction from others.PROBLEM COMPLEXITY/DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:• Requires the ability to resolve unique, or difficult –to- identify problems where facts may be insufficient or misleading. Anticipates problems and determines solutions that integrate overall business strategies.• Works with senior management and executives to implement solutions. Will need to drive results in the face of conflicting objectives and ideas. Must be willing to execute for the good of the company while keeping in mind the goals of the divisions.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:• Strong SharePoint 2007 expertise required. SharePoint Administration experience a plus.• Strong HTML/CSS experience required.• Information architecture/taxonomy experience required.• Windows server experience required.• IIS experience preferred.• Active Directory, Exchange and ASP.NET experience a plus.• SQL/Server experience preferred.• Ability to turn high level requirements into detailed product specifications a must.• Has knowledge of relational databases, integration rules and SQL knowledge. Experience with report writing software (Crystal, SQL Reporting Services, and Performance Point) a plus.• CLIENT RELATIONSHIP SKILLS:• Is either independently responsible for, or collaborates in maintaining overall relationships with multiple department and levels with the business.• Supporting internal clients that do not report to the IT&EA group.
