Opportunity with innovative IT solutions company in NOVA for Lead Share Point Architect to support contracts with Federal Civilian agencies.  The position will be based in Alexandria, VA.

 

 

Job Description:

 Responsible for end-to-end functional/technical design, delivery, and implementation of a MOSS 2007-based solution with custom development as needed using .NET.Solution design will take into consideration functional fit, scalability and sizing, performance, storage requirements, security and maintainability using an iterative, prototype approach. The candidate will utilize all client specific processes, templates, deliverables, and technical guidelines to ensure code and process compliance with the client's best practices guidelines.The candidate will be considered technical expert on the MOSS Platform application development and production support and will be required to work with SharePoint in a multi-server infrastructure. The candidate will also assist in the development of performance metrics.

 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

·  Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 7-15 years technical experience.

·  Expert in depth knowledge and expertise including troubleshooting/debugging skills using SharePoint.

·  Expert knowledge on internet / intranet infrastructure and applications, middleware and their associated infrastructure environments, including storage and server sizing.

·  Experienced with network connectivity components including firewalls, routers, DNS, port openings, Version Control and Remedy change management.

·  Expert communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English and can effectively communicate with a large team of varying experience levels.

·  Highly motivated, well versed in enterprise architecture, application lifecycle, and change management.

·  Strong customer focus.

·  Must be willing to work on a contract to hire status.
