Linux Administrator-3rd shift weekdays / 08-2189 Position Description:IntraISP has been developing and supporting billing & business management systems for the technology services industry since 1994. A pioneer of e-commerce, IntraISP was among the first companies to develop real-time, Web-based billing and credit card processing solutions in the early nineties. IntraISP continues to pave the way for feature rich billing & business management systems well into the 21st century.This position is for a Systems Administrator with very strong Linux and Unix skills. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience with Redhat servers. Any Cisco and/or SAN experience is very helpful. This is a very collaborative environment and you will also have the opportunity to work independently. Any certifications with Linux/Unix or Oracle are extremely helpful.Your responsibilities will be split between supporting and maintaining Linux Redhat servers, and supporting a SAN environment. You should have excellent organizational skills, be very responsible and reliable, and be able to relate well with a team.Responsibilities• This position will assist developers with troubleshooting, bring up new environments, and support the production environment on a 24/7 basis. • This position will involve some off hour support.• The Systems Administrator will be responsible for performing all necessary duties required for maintenance, support, operation of the computing environment. The computing environment consists of both clients and server of Linux, CentOS and Microsoft Windows.- Server Administration- Provide client support for employees to include technical support- Plan, implement, review and maintain standard operating procedures, guidelines, and other standardsQualifications:- H.S diploma or equivalency; BA/BS degree preferred- 3 to 6 years of Linux Systems Administration, Windows support in a production environment• Experience with Linux, Apache, Unix in a production environment- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Expert knowledge of operating and software skills to include MS Office Suite; Database programs to include MySQL, LDAP Scripting languages to include BASH, Perl, PHPThis position will be working evening shifts of: 4 days/week from 12:00am to 10am or 5 days/week 12:00am to 8:00am *
