Description Organization: Systems Integration and Technology Consulting (Industry & Functional Solutions - Resources) Location: Location Negotiable Be a part of Utilities with Accenture! Accenture’s Industry and Functional Solutions group is looking for people to support the Utilities Industry Group.  The company serves 83 percent of the Global Fortune 500 utilities worldwide.  Accenture’s deep, global industry knowledge with integrated suite of methods, people and assets help clients develop the strategies and adopt solutions to improve performance in the dynamic utility market.   Role Description - Lodestar Functional Specialists:   People in manager roles with Lodestar specialty skills joining Accenture’s Industry and Functional Solutions group will have the opportunity to lead teams on utility industry client projects.  Key responsibilities may include: Manage the budget, work plan, staffing plan and training for all FTE's assigned to the Lodestar team Lead the opportunities' definition, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of Lodestar application Assist in defining and reviewing the functional and technical requirements for the Lodestar application Confirm the completeness and consistency of all design and programming deliverable Manage the day to day activities of the designers, programmers and architects Report status, progress and schedule slippage/risks to management Plan and manage work requests based on priority and resource constraints Ability to meet travel requirements (80-100%) Hiring markets include: Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Atlanta, New York City, and Houston  Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  5 years of experience with the Lodestar application 2 full life cycle implementation projects with Lodestar application 1 years of team lead experience managing 3 or more people Bachelors Degree Preferred Skills:  Implementation experience with 2 or more utility companies Masters Degree Experience with a large professional service organization preferred Professional Skills: Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills To submit resume online Click Here Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
