Lotus Domino Administrator

UC Davis Health System, Information Services Department, located in Sacramento is seeking a Lotus Domino Administrator to be responsible for providing technical direction and assistance with the overall technical design of the Notes/Domino environment; maintain and provide Domino server administration services, research, test and evaluate new Lotus Notes client and Domino server releases, installation of upgrades,and support of wireless electronic mail communication.

 

Requires Lotus Domino experience in messaging and collaboration and experience in supporting major implementations and upgrades. Incumbent must show some proficiency in Domino administration and application development, system architecture, and Windows servers. Incumbent must possess knowledge with virus and spam protection and secure filtering products. Incumbent must possess experience supporting a large Notes environment of 4,000+ users. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience necessary. Individual must be detailed oriented with strong problem analysis, resolution and communication skills. Individual must also possess a broad understanding of messaging and groupware concepts, to be able to make decisions based on the organization's unique environment and industry standards and recommendations. Individual must be famliar with general mail concepts such as POP3, LDAP, IMAP, and SMTP. Must be able to work in a team environment.  Lotus Notes 7 and 8 deployment experience is preferred.
