Job Description: Middleware Services Lead role will provide technical leadership in the areas of design, support, and maintenance of complex enterprise systems. 

 

High-level job responsibilities include:

- Creatively solve diverse and challenging technical problems as they arise.

- Plan, develop and deploy a variety of medium-scale web-based solutions, including the interfaces and backend connections to various data sources and systems.

- Communicate technical requirements and issues effectively to business, operations, development, vendors, and executive staff.

- Troubleshoot and develop solutions to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Keep abreast of current and emerging software development, deployment, and performance tools.

- Manage projects of various sizes and complexities.

- Mentor and train members of team.

 

Job Requirements:

 

- 3+ years of supporting mission critical internet/intranet environments.

- 3+ years of increasing experience in infrastructure design and implementation of enterprise solutions. 

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Proven Project Management skills working with medium levels of complexity.

- Experience managing small groups.

- Experience with Web Services, Networking concepts, deploying medium scale applications.

- Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials/HR administration and migration experience a plus.

- .Net and/or WebSphere experience a plus

- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
