MIS Manager/Specialist

This position reports directly to the VP of Operations

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Sole person responsible for AccuSoft’s internal and external IT infrastructure.  This includes both onsite and off site networks and servers.

·  Hardware and software installation, upgrades and maintenance. 

· This position could include some SQL DBA responsibilities.

· CRM maintenance and possible migration of Ektron CMS implementation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Experience required: Windows XP, Desk Top OS, MS Exchange 2003, 2007, Microsoft Office Applications. SQL Experience a must.

· VPN / WAN –Firewall or VPN experience a must.

· CRM/CMS experience a plus.

· Capable of working with limited supervision, must possess solid interpersonal skills and must be able to effectively work with all internal departments.

· Knowledge of personal computer equipment and the ability to install and maintain computer hardware and software.

· Must be detail oriented, organized and be flexible to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

· Knowledge of computer operations, as well as computer hardware and software.

· Ability to detect, analyze and resolve computer software and network problems.

· Ability to interact with users, and provide clear and useful instruction and training; or obtain necessary information to correct production problems on a timely basis.

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or Certification in Computer Technology strongly desired.  Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional IT environment.
