InterAct Public Safety Systems is always looking for motivated and qualified people to fill positions at our company. Our dedicated, energetic and friendly team is committed to providing the highest standards of public safety solutions and customer service.

Currently we are looking for an MSFT GIS Engineer I. This is an entry level position (2-4 yrs) for a programmer to work on our MAP/GEO product. This position involves interfacing to ESRI's API and wrapping it around a UI framework.
Required Skills:

Application Maintenance and Development (code, test, document).

Trouble-shoot and support Helpdesk and QA departments.

Code and test unit application programs, prepare program and system documentation for QA and installation. A

bility to work on most phases of applications programming independently though may require guidance/instruction in other phases.
Experience Required:

Software Engineer with minimum of 2 years experience in VB6/C# and ESRI ArcGis Engine 9 and ESRI MapObjects.

Must have VB6 experience.

Experience with Java is also highly recommended for this position. Visual Studio .NET 2005 (c#), ESRI ArcGis Engine 9.

Programming Certifications a plus
