Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer. www.apple.com/jobs Position Description:Job DescriptionIntegration Engineer responsible for application triage work and technical liaison with 3rd party companies for major Mac OS X releases and Mac OS X Software updates.  Tasks include, but are not limited to - support for day to day tracking of escalations from 3rd parties, bug management (screening, reproducing, isolating and routing), application debugging, performance testing and reporting. Additionally there will be a requirement for regression testing of 3rd party software leveraging automation, managing seeding of software to and from 3rd party developers, creation and maintenance of test tools and test infrastructure.  The ideal candidate is a CS new grad or up to 3 years experience to work on the next generation of Mac OS X.  You should be very comfortable in the application/framework space with excellent communication skills.Required Experience:* BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.* 1+ years experience in the software industry or equivalent (including intern experience).* Strong programming language skills (C, Objective C, C++).* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Good practical experience in debugging and debugging tools.* Excellent foundation in operating system architecture and system level programming.Preferred Experience:* Experience in Carbon (particularly HLTB) and Cocoa programming a strong plus.* Experience in automation a plus.* Experience in performance analysis and reporting a plus.* Familiarity with Perl, or Unix shell scripting would be desirable.* Knowledge of web development including PHP, SQL, Javascript and HTML a plus.* Development experience with Mac OS X.
