Reporting to the lead of Product Development, this role is responsible for the day to day operations for Ceridian's HR/Payroll front end web applications.

Job Responsibilities:Managing the development team in delivering software products on time, within budget and at the highest degree of quality. Direct multiple teams of onshore and offshore software engineers, providing strategy, vision, leadership, mentoring, and career development.Candidate must possess a strong command of development technologies, techniques, and web design for high-traffic, large-scale websites. Must organize time effectively, attention to detail, and work under extreme deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Act as a bridge between the product management and software engineers to help capture requirements to staff, plan, and execute all aspects of Ceridian's HR/Payroll application releases. Performance management will also be a key function of this role with utilization of verbal feedback and written performance review tools.

Travel less than 25%.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.Minimum of 10+ years of software development experience, preferably for a web-based enterprise-class software provider. Previous management experience with Visual Basic, VB.net, SQL server, and IIS. 5 years of management experience in leading software development from concept to creation to deployment. Experience with large development projects and preferably and proven ability to motivate and lead team members. Prior experience with CUSP (Ceridian Unified Software Process) or the Rational Unified Process a plus. Drive to stay current on technology changes, directions, and new product offerings. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to manage oneâ??s time and contacts effectively and efficiently.
