Its consumer properties offer a comprehensive destination for the active lifestyle.As a member of Active Marketing Group's Product Sales Team, you will develop new business by working with mid-tier and enterprise sized companies to engage them online advertising with The Active Network. We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing our client base. You must be results-driven, have strong presentation skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities. The Manager, Business Development is expected to understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of Active.com, and the active-lifestyle consumer's value proposition to the advertising community.We will consider candidates located in San Diego, Denver or New York. Duties and Responsibilities:Plan and implement daily/weekly/monthly sales activities, to include initial contact, follow ups, and detailed documentation. Sales activities include phone, in-person, and email communication on a consistent basis Engage and strategize with prospects and clients to demonstrate how Active can drive brand awareness and revenue for their clients Identification and continued dialog with key decision makers Hit Monthly Revenue Goals Track progress of all leads within assigned territory Develop and maintain accurate customer contact database Qualification of prospects by business need, potential solutions, proposal amount and timing Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities Understanding market and customer needs, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of media sales or applicable experience Motivated by a base salary plus commission structure Excellent verbal, phone sales, written communications and listening skills Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships with clients Strong organizational and project management skills Strong analytical skills Proven leadership abilities and initiative Don't let this great opportunity to work with a dynamic and energetic group of individuals pass you by, please apply now!
