Manager, IT Operations
This is a permanent position working directly for our client. The position offers a great team and work in environment in a rapidly growing company.
Must have Strong technical knowledge of: Oracle 9i & 10g databases and e-Business Suite 11i.
Expertise with open source (LAMP) online and database technologies, legacy applications, SQL and PL/SQL is desired.
This position requires strength (very hands on) in Oracle 11i Applications ... Oracle Financials, Oracle e-Business suite as well as Oracle's Warehouse management system, Order to Cash, Order entry. Additionally, there has to be strength in production operations and production support for their highly available production environment.
Position Purpose:
The primary and ultimate responsibility of the Manager of IT Operations is as follows:
1)The Manager of IT Operation is responsible for the performance, functionality and reliability of our client’s applications. This position manages Technical/Functional Specialists and operations staff. Ensures 24x7 application software availability in support of mission critical business requirements. Functions as both production support and development support for implementation projects.
2) Works with the CIO and the senior IT management team to establish strategies and priorities for the overall IT operations by analyzing and understanding the current and future applications operations needs in order to formulate and recommend plans to keep pace with the business demands

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
· Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years sales experience within the IT field of relevance.
· Must have 5+ years experience in Oracle technologies.
· Experience supporting Oracle 10g databases, eBusiness Suite 11i, open source online and database technologies and legacy applications.
· Some experience in SQL and PL/SQL a plus.
· Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Company, in its discretion may find appropriate and acceptable.
Key Competencies:
·Must have experience in Oracle 11i Applications environments ... e-Business and Financials
Experience with Oracle CEMLIs (Configuration/Customization, Extension, Modification, Localization and Integration).
· Experience working with conversion and interfaces programs between Oracle 11i, open source and legacy.
· Understanding of regulator, legal and compliances issues for SOX and audit functions.
· Understanding of Business Processes utilizing Oracle Application Flows across the E-Business suites.
· Experience with backup and recovery experience.
· Experience with database monitoring tools.
· Knowledge of Data warehouse design and implementation.
· Excellent leadership capabilities and communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to be proactive and work well under pressure.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· To be defined as required for the specific position.
· Expert knowledge of the use of a personal computer and/or laptop.
· Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Functional knowledge of internal operating systems: Oracle, proprietary OnLine systems, sales software and programs, report writer programs such as Discover, etc.
· Think Innovatively: Identify and act on ideas which further the Company’s strategic goals.
