We seek an experienced Manager, Organizational and Leadership Programs to join our team and lead our corporate-wide strategic human resources initiatives. This position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Glastonbury, CT.
As a Manager, Organizational and Leadership Programs, you will: serve as program manager and internal business consultant to establish relationships, networks, tools, processes and support systems to drive various initiativesbe accountable for managing the design, preparation and implementation of our leadership development, recognition, and retention programs along with other change management and corporate driven initiatives which support strategic business plansbe tasked to frame new projects, design and conduct data gathering, analyze qualitative and quantitative findings, participate in solution identification and plan and lead integration of the recommended solutionconsult with various groups to identify needs and develop solutionsexamine alternative approaches, conduct cost / benefit analyses and interface with various departments and all levels of managementoversee leadership competency improvement initiatives and performance improvement and retention effortsselect and contract with outside vendors to accomplish project objectives when necessaryTrack and manage project finances/resources to achieve goals and drive continuous improvementmonitor training programs and initiatives; assess results and implement enhancements as needed.
To qualify for this role, you must have: polished interpersonal skills, and the ability to network within a functional organizationexperience in making, building and sustaining productive relationships with senior managementaccomplished writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward manner for varied audiences strong verbal communication skills (speaking and listening) a significant customer-service, results-oriented focus experience in making persuasive and ROI arguments to senior managersa proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment demonstrated high competence with MS-Office suite of applicationstrong analytical and decision making skills, and the ability to produce and derive positions and recommendations from varied data sources, some of which you will independently develop A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field, SPHR/PHR Certification, and 5-10 years of hands on experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in organizational development; design and implementation of organization-wide programs; change management; and data gathering, analysis, and reporting required for this position.
Candidate will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Position will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and work in concert with Regional and local HR teams.
