The manager of platform R&D will guide the development team to further the development of MediaZone content management system as well as create and recommend software components to manage and improve our workflow as it relates to video production and delivery, web site creation and management as well as 3rd party tool and service integration.

 

 

 Required Skills

C# under .Net 3.5 in visual studio 2008 and ASP.net  Solid understanding of object oriented programming working in a multi-tier environment Excellent understanding of trade-offs between algorithmic complexity and storage Experience creating and maintaining robust, high-performance web applications in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills experience and 2 years managing software development Experience with MS SQL and writing stored procedures with SQL 2000/2005 Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, and XSD Proficient with development of web services and Windows services Knowledge of Web Forms and Web controls Experience with Java and Linux a plus

 

 

 Required Experience

Minimum 4 years of professional software development Strong background in Computer Science, B.S. preferred Proven ability to manage software releases to a production environment 10-15 years of experience
