Manager, Service Delivery (San Diego, CA)

Claritas Inc. (www.claritas.com), the premier provider of intelligent marketing information and target marketing services in a business-to-business environment, has an opportunity for a Manager, Service Delivery.

 

Duties:

Manage personnel and day-to-day activities in the Data Mart Services Group, which is responsible for development and installation of the Claritas data mart (computerized market data repositories) product for clients.  Perform planning, communication, and coordination for the creation of corporate data marts.  Review, adjust, and approve data specifications for corporate data marts.  Communicate with Product Management, Project Management, and other stakeholders with regard to the creation and publication of corporate data marts.  Perform coordination with the Strategic Data Resources department to create, test, and package all corporate data marts.  Work with Oracle and Unix to perform technical tasks associated with the creation and maintenance of data marts.  Coach and supervise junior members of the team.  Provide accurate and appropriately detailed reports to the management team. 

Requirements:

 

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or statistics plus two years of experience in the job offered or as software system engineer/developer, programmer analyst, or database administrator.  Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.  Must have two years of experience working with Oracle.  Must have experience in project management, including the management of other IT professionals. Must have experience with Unix.  Must have effective analytical, oral, and written communication skills.  Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
