We seek a market research analyst to support corporate strategy, sales and marketing initiatives, perform moderately complex analysis of existing and potential markets for the company's products and services and gather/maintain information on competitors. The individual selected for this position must have the ability to operate under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment.

In this role, you will:conduct primary market research, analyzing third-party research and provide comparisons to competitors' offerings provide statistical reports and recommendations to management and assists with the development of plans for sales and marketing gather, analyze and disseminate industry trends and competitive intelligence in support of the organization analyze data within the Company's database and industry information/data from external sources prepare reports for the organization for purposes of analyzing sales and market trends assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and sales staff conduct research to assist in analyzing future products and new markets prepare operational or measurement studies to assist Company in operating the more efficiently and effectively provide in depth analysis on competitor activities in non-US markets; keep a permanent log on competitors' initiatives; compile and report results at least quarterly and more regularly if necessary

To qualify for this position, you must have:be highly proficient with Excel, Access and PowerPoint as well as overall proficiency with Microsoft Office suite have research and data analysis skills including familiarity with LexisNexis, survey tools and CRM systems the ability to analyze and synthesize information quickly and derive meaningful and actionable implications and recommendations for end-users have the understanding of the financial services industry, and ability to identify pertinent information impacting the industry overall overall knowledge of financial data reporting and ability to highlight trends and competitors' performance strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and presentation skills bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus Please apply directly to this position at our Open Solutions career center.
