Messaging Engineer   The Messaging Engineer will be a part of a team that provides administration, support and design of the Microsoft Exchange 2003 email environment throughout North America and worldwide.  We are seeking excellent knowledge of Active Directory and Windows 2003 domains as well as excellent knowledge of Cluster Services and DR procedures.  The Messaging Engineer will provide support of associated client and server based mail systems for the Monster Worldwide business in North America and worldwide.  This position will ensure maximum availability of all mail based resources.  If you thrive on providing excellent customer service at all times, ensuring calls are dealt with efficiently and effectively, prioritizing and escalating issues, apply now!    Essential Functions   To maintain and improve system availability of all email derived services, adhering to policies and procedures. Assist in managing the installation, configuration and administration of all email server infrastructure that supports the business. Assess the impact of email system changes prior to their implementation, minimizing downtime and working with globally dispersed colleagues where appropriate. Provide technical expertise and consultancy to the Wider Monster Technology teams on Windows 2000, Active Directory and Exchange 2003. Help to provide a high quality support experience to the global user base. Assist in the support of a 1000+ Blackberry population. Perform out of hours support as required. Communicate and maintain standards across platforms. Coordinate backup and recovery procedures. Define, publish and operate standard procedures. Capacity planning. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting as required. Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and customers. Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering preferred. Microsoft certifications strongly preferred. (MCSE 2000/2003) Excellent Microsoft Exchange 2003 knowledge required. Excellent Microsoft Clustering Services knowledge required. 5+ years MS OS server and client experience. Experience of production support in a corporate environment. Experience in DR builds and processes Excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills, excellent customer service ethics, attention to detail. Ability to use own initiative and work independently on high-end server issues. Strong team player, prior experience as a team lead preferred. Ability to multitask and drive projects to completion, “Can do” attitude. Enjoy a fast paced environment and address issues with a sense of urgency. Technical expertise required:  Dell server hardware maintenance, Windows 2000/2003, Exchange 5.5 and 2003, Mail Archiving Technologies, Clustered environments, Knowledge of SAN Technology, Experience with Trend/Barracuda/Iron-Port Anti-spam Applications/Devices.
