Job Description:

 

Ethix Solutions is seeking Business Intelligence specialists to join a growing Microsoft Practice in Denver. Specialists will work on a variety of different exciting client projects varying in size and scope. The positions involve exposure to each area of the full implementation lifecycle process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation. It is very important that the candidate have a strong initiative for dynamic thought, be able to work independently and in a team setting.

 

Responsibilities:

 

*       The BI specialist’s role is to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses

*       Includes selecting, gather requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solution around ETL processes, data validation, and reporting

*       Design and deliver end-user training and training materials. Provide technical support as necessary

*       Participate in design reviews with business analyst and Business Intelligence Architect to ensure the design will meet business requirements

 

Experience and Skills Sought:

 

*       Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

*       Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), T-SQL, ProClarity, PerformancePoint Server 2007

*       Full project and development life cycle experience

*       Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data-modeling, relational and OLAP design

*       Strong understanding of relational database designs, principles, and practices

*       Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications

*       Hands-on experience with developing KPI’s, management dashboards for portal interfaces

*       Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

*       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills

*       Strong attention to detail

*       Microsoft Certification in SQL Server
