Microsoft Practice Manager

Currently Solutia Consulting is looking for an experienced and highly motivated manager to focus on building our Microsoft practice.  In this role, you will work with our Service Line Director in defining the vision of the practice, leading the Microsoft group with this vision and developing and delivering software based professional services as a consultant at a project manager or solutions architect level for our clients.  In defining the vision, you will be a leader in adopting new Microsoft technologies and educating our group in these leading edge technologies and how to leverage them into client opportunities.  In working with clients you will be involved with various proposals for selling engagements.  Responsibilities for client engagements could include defining functional and technical requirements, leading design sessions, managing project plans, overseeing a development group and developing and maintaining client relationships to identify up selling and cross selling opportunities.  Client projects will vary in size and industry but the key will be to ensure successful project delivery.   

 

Candidates MUST have the following:
- Overall 8 + years of experience with Microsoft application development environments and technologies and has grown into a manager or lead solution architect role over time. 

-Solid experiences and understanding of Microsoft technologies.

-Demonstrated experiences in leading and recommending effective solutions to clients using Microsoft leading edge solutions.

-Demonstrated experiences working as a project manager or lead solution architect for technical teams within organizations.

-Strong experience leading, managing and mentoring teams

- Has demonstrated skills in project planning, analysis, design and implementation along with balancing multiple projects simultaneously
- Is a team player with strong business aptitude and work ethic, excellent communication skills and has a consultative and solutions-oriented approach to working with clients.  Must be an excellent relationship manager.


Education:
-4-year college degree

-Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the U.S., which is not related to a nonimmigrant visa.
