Microsoft SharePoint Developer Needed for a leading software company located in Plantation, FL Position Summary:

 

Dynamic team oriented individual to fill the position of SharePoint Developer. The Developer will support, modify, analyze, and develop SharePoint sites and web-parts, consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. The incumbent may be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections, write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures and perform a variety of complicated tasks.

 

Essential Job Functions: Develop new and modify existing systems to achieve company business goals. Provide ideas to improve and optimize current systems. Optimize system code for peak performance, and meet previously set standards. Document procedures and train end-users on new systems. Demonstrate excellent project and team management to maximize productivity. Review, assess and approve project development completed by other team members. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Mastery of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services In depth experience developing and implementing Web-Parts Strong Knowledge of XML Strong knowledge of Java and/or VB script Strong knowledge of CSS Working .NET experience Working experience queering SQL data using ad-hoc queries and stored procedures Knowledge of FrontPage technologies (SharePoint Designer 2007) Knowledge of InfoPath technologies (InfoPath 2007) Education & Experience:

 

In addition, the successful candidate must be able to meet with users and understand requirements in order to provide a quality product, must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming. Microsoft certified preferred and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, required. Classic ASP/Visual Basic/Crystal Report/Onyx/Great Plains/Cold Fusion a plus. Compensation
