Mid/Senior Level Web Application DeveloperJob DescriptionWe are seeking an energetic professional who wants to define their career in an industry ripe for change to join our team as a software developer.This position will be responsible for developing web applications for internal corporate use (e.g. CRM and reporting tools), as well as contributing to the development of customer-facing web applications.Required Qualifications· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience· Programming experience in SQL and PHP· Experienced developing applications in HTML, JavaSript, and AJAX· Familiarity with common Linux tasks· Working knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies· Demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, and implementation, debugging, and testing.· Quick learner with strong problem solving skills· Strong written and verbal communications skills· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, and ProjectPreferred· 2-4 (minimum) years of Business related application development· Experience administering MySQL in mission-critical applications· Work experience in healthcare policy, health benefits, banking, finance, or insurance distribution· Demonstrated passion to contribute solutions in the health and wellness industry· Highly motivated individual who is eager to contribute in an entrepreneurial work environment· Positive thinker with a “can-do” attitude Responsibilities· Develop Web Applications for mission critical business functions · Actively participate in all aspects of the Zane Benefits Application Development life cycle· Contribute to customer-facing Web Applications· Working closely with Chief Technology Officer to design, implement, and deploy projects· Develop plans, organize and prioritize data projects, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
