We are looking for a Migrations Manager who will work as a part of a dynamic team in a rapidly growing company. The Migration Manager works in a fast-paced, technical environment, with responsibilities as both a team member and a mentor. The Migration Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and evolving Aprimo's migration best practices to ensure repeatable success. The Migration Manager must possess the unique balance of managerial skills in addition to strong technical debugging and troubleshooting skills. The Migration Manager will also play an important role in sales development. The position requires frequent travel to customer sites. This position will help in truly building out the migrations practice.

 

Responsibilities
1. Ensure customer success within the realm of migration projects.
2. Provide senior leadership and guidance for migration projects.
3. Assist in the development and deployment of migration best practices.
4. Work hand in hand with sales team members in order to estimate and scope upgrade projects.
5. Independent troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they relate to software coding, and relational database structures.
6. Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding and use scenarios of Aprimo Marketing software applications in order to effectively support Aprimo customer migrations.
7. Work independently, and flexible work hours.
8. Clearly communicate and articulate technical details to both customers and team members.

 

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Masters in a business or technical discipline given additional consideration.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in n-tiered server and enterprise application deployment
• A strong aptitude for Debugging/Troubleshooting application issues
• Proven experience in some high level programming language, preferably in C# .NET
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SQL and/or Oracle, and relational database concepts, and troubleshooting.
• Proven skills associated with the management of customer expectations.
• Proven leadership and technical project management.
• Strong communication and professional skills
• A positive attitude, strong aptitude and desire for customer success.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a small team environments
• Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
• Frequent Travel to Customer Sites
