§ Create and maintain data architecture to increase the robustness, performance, and scalability of the Data Processing system;

§ Participate in architecture design and code reviews, documentation of design, implementation of methodologies to ensure high quality software;Tune database performance for the applications within the development environment;Coordinate tasks among database team members;Provide leadership and mentoring to more junior developers, transferring domain and technical knowledge;Create and implement test plans to ensure the functionality and performance.

 

Experience & Knowledge: 

 

§ Degree in Computer Science, Applied Science or Engineering with ten years design/programming experience and 7+ years design/development experience with relational databases;

§ Excellent collaboration, communication and problem solving skills;

§ Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills;

§ Proven track record in building and operating highly scalable/performing/24x7 database applications;

§ Strong experience with SQL Server and to a lesser extent, MySQL
