.NET Programmer Analyst
Position: Programmer Analyst
Factory Physics, Inc. is looking for bright enthusiastic developers to join our development team immediately. Developers should enjoy working in a team environment and be self starting. Opportunities exist for those individuals desiring client interaction as well.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties include the development, maintenance and support of a commercial supply chain management application using the Microsoft .NET Framework. Other duties will include, providing technical expertise in evaluating, implementing, and servicing business applications; recommending technical designs for applications; creating application documentation and application guidelines
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or computer related discipline
Requirements:2+ years of hands-on development experience. Strong understanding of the .NET Framework. 2+ years experience developing applications in VB.NET or C#. 2+ years experience with ASP/ASP.NET, HTML and JavaScript. Experience designing and implementing SQL Server 2000/2005 databases, triggers, views and stored procedures. Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts. Working knowledge of web service. Working knowledge of XML and related technologies. Excellent Oral and Written communication skills. Excellent troubleshooting skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is necessary to reach full career potential with the company
Preferred Skills:Ability to write sound self documenting code including exception handling and stack trace logging. Fast learner. Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines. 3+ years of hands-on development experience with the .NET environment. Experience using Visual Source Safe. Microsoft Certifications (MCSD, MCAD, etc). Understanding of industrial engineering concepts.
