.NET Software Applications Developer

Clean Harbors Environmental Services, ranked 5th on the Boston Globe's list of 'The Best Massachusetts Businesses 2007' and voted Company of the Year 2006 by the Boston Business Journal is searching for Web Developers to join our growing IT Department.  These positions are based at our Corporate Headquarters in Norwell, MA just south of Boston. 

 

The Web Developer will design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. 

In addition they will support and install software applications and or operating systems. 

 

The Web Developer participates in the testing process through testing review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to generate application that are relevant to real world business challenges. 

 

A BA/BS degree in a related area and 2+ years of experience in the field

 

Competencies:Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a particular fieldRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of tasksWorks well under general supervisionMust have at least 2 years experience in Microsoft Visual Basic .Net and ASP.NETExperience in web development and tools such as Java Script requiredMust have strong SQL server experience with at least 5 years hands on development of stored proceduresExperience with Visual Source Safe requiredExperience working in a team environment: enterprise development environment a must (3 or more developers)
