Primary ResponsibilitiesRecommend development platforms and application components Review legacy applications and select candidates for service commoditization Document and capture as-is and to-be architecture states Develop prototype code samples Design web services and adapters using commercial and open source tools Oversight of development effort, and participation in code production and testing

QualificationsExperience in designing, developing and implementing software solutions using Microsoft technologies .Net application architecture experience involving C# programming, BizTalk, Sharepoint, etc. Experience in designing and developing .Net  application frameworks Experience in developing web services, including web service enablement of existing applications Excellent technical writing skills and strong verbal and interpersonal skills Knowledge of application servers, including JBOSS, WebSphere or BEA WebLogic Knowledge of structured design methodologies, tools, and processes including Agile, UML, Use Case Definition, Requirements Definition, Design Document Creation, Service Design Very strong object-oriented design, modeling and development experience Ability to quickly assimilate, organize, analyze, abstract and synthesize large amounts of information and to make decisions based on this analysis Team leadership experience on development projects Ability to produce and execute unit tests Ability to code service implementations based on provided design Experience with messaging systems such as WebSphere MQ, JMS or commercial Middleware packages
