NetApp Global Service Partner Development Manager

Description:Job Summary:The Technical Third Party Maintainer Enabler (TTE) is responsible for the definition and development of training for NetApp TPM partners. This includes Global Standards for testing, certification and recertification. The TTE works closely together with NetApp University, the Global Partner management teams, NetApp New Products Introduction (NPI) training development teams and training vendors. The TTE is part of the Support Operations Partner managers Team and is a key player to get the quality of our field engineers to a higher level. TTE is also responsible for creating Net2 content on existing products and for NPI.Job Description Details- Is responsible for the development of training courses and works closely together with other TTE in Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.- Drives the development of Net2 Action plan content, and training courses,- Responsible for delivery of hardware and software training to TPM partners, trainers, training partners.- Follows new product introduction (NPI) closely and updates the training courses to cover the new products.- Responsible for the training kits, new orders, updates and maintenance of the existing.- Works within the boundaries of the Support Operations training budget.- Works together with the Support Operations Manager on the level of training planning and organization. - Help drive new and creative ways to drive TPM excellence.Candidate Requirements- Based in Sunnyvale.- High level of knowledge on NetApp hardware, software required.- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering; or related field is required; a Graduate Degree is preferred. - Has experience with delivery and development of training courses.- Experience in Technical Writing, Content Development and Documentation in the computer field is required.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Prior experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Escalations Engineer, Technical Global Advisor, Professional Services Engineer, is desired.- High level of creativity.Education and Experience:- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required. 6 to 8 years of experience is preferred. - A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field; or equivalent experience is required.- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.Qualifications:Requirements:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to successfully interface with internal and external individuals.- Understanding of Channel Partner, Reseller, Strategic Alliance, and Third Party Maintenance providers within assigned area.- Understanding of outsourcing, third party maintenance providers, resellers, channels, and channel marketing disciplines.- Understanding of channel mechanics, processes and procedures.- Ability to understand and gain expertise in server, storage, and networking industry terminology and technology.- Ability to produce results and meet goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Responsibility and Interaction:Responsibility: - The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.- This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.Interaction: - This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects.
